Bishop of Zvornik and Tuzla expresses concern over future of Serbian Orthodox communities in Bosnia

The Serbian Patriarchate’s Bishop of Zvornik and Tuzla, His Grace Fotije, again expressed his concern over the future of the Serbian Orthodox communities in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

In a statement, he warned that “…a significant reduction has been recorded in the Serbian population of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Serbs in all parts of the federation have been reduced to the level of a statistical error.”

His Grace added that the holy relics and cultural treasures of Serbian Orthodoxy must be preserved and maintained in Bosnia.
