Blessing for new academic year in Addis Ababa

The Bishop of Gulu and eastern Uganda, His Grace Silvestros, this week officiated at a blessing ceremony for the new academic year at the Greek community’s school in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa.

The Metropolitan of Axum, His Eminence Daniel, was also on hand for the blessing ceremony, conveying the best wishes of the Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, towards the Greek Orthodox youth in Ethiopia, as well as towards the teaching and administrative staff.
