A significant art exhibition entitled “Heavenly Protectors of the Army and the Fleet of Russia” opened in Moscow this week, just a few days before the dedication of the Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces, in honor of the Resurrection of Christ.
The cathedral, built in Patriot Park in the Greater Moscow, will open its doors to the faithful on June 22, with its consecration to coincide with the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the German invasion of the Soviet Union during WWII, known in Russia as the Great Patriotic War.
