Celebration of Divine Liturgy today November 9, Feast of ST. NEKTARIOS IN GULU

Liturgy was led by Fr Julius Orach at St. Lavrentios in Gulu City. St. Nektarios lived in this world just like anyone of us, and with love, faith, forgiving heart and patience, he continued to serve Christ in the Holy Church till his last breath despite the persecutions and slanders he was facing: said Fr Julius.
He futher urged all the faithful to fully emulate Christ-like lifestyle of St. Nektarios.
He appealed to the Christians that Humility and genuine love to each everyone irrespective of their background.
He also highlighted the SOP’s by the Uganda ministry of Health must be observed to protect us against the covid19.
