Celebration of Saint Sava in Szentendre
On Sunday, January 31, 2021, on the feast of St. Athanasius the Great and St. Maximus, Archbishop of Serbia, also Saint Sava, the first Serbian Archbishop, was solemnly celebrated in Szentendre.
His Grace Bishop Lukijan of Budim, the Administrator of Timisoara, celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy, with the concelebration of the clergy of the Cathedral church. at the end of the Liturgy, the Bishop blessed the slava gifts in honor of Saint Sava.
Protopresbyter-staurophor Vojislav Galic spoke about the life and work of our spiritual father and educator Sava, and then the children recited and sang in honor of the Saint.
