The Patriarchate of Georgia released the annual message of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, who called on the faithful to avoid envy, hatred, fear and judgment, along with other sins and earthly pleasures.
The Georgian Patriarch’s Christmas message also touched on the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

His Holiness and Beatitude said that beyond the restrictions related to the pandemic, it’s also necessary for people to get closer to God, “…because no one knows what tomorrow will be like… We should also listen to doctors’ advice, but above all we should maintain the commandments of God and live a virtuous life”.
