Church bells of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Alexandria ring again after 11 years

A Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the historic cathedral on Sunday, after its thorough renovation. The Church of St. Nicholas was built in 1899, and was often frequented by Greek merchant seamen who docked in Alexandria.

St. Nicholas is the patron saint of sailors.
