A significant protocol of cooperation was signed today at the Archdiocese of Athens between the Church of Greece and the Greek state to prevent domestic violence, a problem that has reportedly increased during the pandemic.
The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, accompanied by the Metropolitan of Ilion, Archarnon and Petroupoli, His Eminence Athinagoras, represented the Church.

His Eminence Athinagoras explained the Church’s role in the initiative to prevent domestic violence in the country during a recent interview on the pemptousia online radio station with journalist Maria Giachnaki.
