The Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece on Friday issued another encyclical to remind hierarchs, clerics and the flock of the need to faithfully follow all imposed public assembly and public health guidelines for worship in cathedrals and chapels.
The encyclical reminds that this is a decision by members of the Church of Greece’s Holy Synod.
The previous restrictions continue to apply to the holding of weddings, baptisms and funeral services, such as a maximum number of people allowed indoors, the mandatory wearing of face masks and social distancing.
