The Church today venerates the memory of Hieromartyr Haralambos.
This saint was a priest of Christians in Magnesia, in western Asia Minor. He contested during the reign of Alexander Severus in the early 3rd century.
At the time of his martyrdom, St. Haralambos was described as in a very advanced age. He died for his faith after enduring numerous tortures.
