The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago announced that, beginning January 1, 2020, at least one parish in the Metropolis will celebrate the Divine Liturgy and offer the Holy Eucharist every day of the year.

The 2020 Divine Liturgy daily schedule will be updated regularly and can be found HERE.

“The Divine Liturgy is at the center of Orthodox Christian life, and therefore, its celebration must be a ceaseless labor of love for God and neighbor. I am most pleased that the clergy of the Metropolis are prepared to offer the faithful spiritual sustenance—the Holy Eucharist. Celebrating the Divine Liturgy on a daily basis will offer greater opportunity for the faithful at home and when traveling in the Metropolis to partake in the mystery of the Divine Liturgy and come closer to Christ,” His Eminence said.

Parishioners are encouraged to refer to the daily schedule when released for the types of liturgical services offered as well as contact their local churches for more information including daily scheduling of the Divine Liturgy.
