The Metropolitan of Halkida, His Eminence Chrysostomos, declared the Sunday after Christmas as a day devoted to the children of his Metropolis, echoing an initiative by the Holy Synod of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece to dedicate a day to the unborn child.
After Sunday’s Divine Liturgy, Chrysostomos hosted a dinner for staff members of the Holy Metropolis’ summer camps at the events and cultural center of the Cathedral of the Annunciation, in the city of Halkida.
