Decisions of the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem

On Thursday, April 24/May 7, 2020, the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, chaired by H.H.B. our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos, took under consideration various matters of the Patriarchate, especially the way the Paschal Services were held within the framework of the restriction precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic and decided the following;

1. Appointed Hierodeacon Simeon Secretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod.
2. Decided the ordination to Priest of Deacon Mihail Berkovitch, in order to minister at the Russian-speaking Community of Ber-Shebba.
3. Decided the ordination to Deacon of Novice Monk Haldun Salman Attallah Hourani at the H. Metropolis of Philadelphia under His Eminence Archbishop Christophoros of Kyriakoupolis in Amman
