Divine Liturgy for the Sunday of the Myrrhbearing Women and Celebration of the Charity Brotherhood

With the blessing and presence of Patriarch John X, the Divine Liturgy for the Sunday of the Myrrhbearing Women (the second Sunday after Easter) was held in the Church of the Holy Cross in Al-Qassaa. The following Reverend Bishops were also present: Romanos (Al Hannat), Arsenios (Dahdal), and Moussa (Al Khasi), together with a group of priests. This Divine Liturgy was held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the society called “Brotherhood of Charity”. Many fraternities from the Damascus churches also attended and participated in this celebration after which everyone headed for a reception at the church hall.
