The Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, officiated at the Divine Liturgy of St. Mark, which was celebrated on Sunday at the monastery of St. George, within the so-called Babylon fortress of Cairo’s old quarter.
The service was not held in the monastery’s catholicos, or main cathedral, but at the gravesite of the patriarchate’s neo-martyrs.
