A draft bill concerning the establishment and operation of places of worship in the country is being readied by the relevant education and religious affairs ministry.
According to minister Niki Kerameos, the current legal framework dates to the late 1930s and needs to be modernized, in order to allow Greek citizens to carry out their religious rites with security and respect towards the rights of all, as she said.
