During the Leadership 100 virtual General Assembly Meeting today, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America announced a new liturgical practice in honor to the members of the historic organization:
“It has long been the tradition when a hierarch serves the Divine Liturgy for him to commemorate the local Parish Council, the Archons, and the Philoptochos at the Great Entrance. But Leadership 100 has not been automatically part of these commemorations in the past.
Leadership 100 has been such a help to me, especially in this past year, that from now on, and as long as I am your Archbishop, Leadership 100 will be officially part of the commemorations at every Divine Liturgy – and I will encourage every Hierarch of our Archdiocese to do the same – because you are the powerful pillar upon which our Archdiocese depends.”
