Ecumenical Patriarch: 2020 will witness event for all Orthodox youth of Turkey

The Ecumenical Patriarch, His All Holiness Bartholomew, welcomed children and young people from the ethnic Greek community in the Bosporus metropolis to the Fanar-district Patriarchate seat this week, reiterating that “…you were born here, you grew up here, and you must stay here, faithful guardians of the invaluable legacy of our Fathers, the grace of our race, the way of life of Hellenism.”
The Ecumenical Patriarch said 2020 will be devoted to youth, announcing that a wide-ranging event for all Orthodox youth living in Turkey will be held.
