Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, attended and honored with his presence the international conference “Water Week”, held in Amsterdam.
Various international and transnational institutions, national governments and companies dealing with water management and conservation gathered in Amsterdam for the conference.
The Ecumenical Patriarch, who is often referred to by the international press as the ‘The Green Patriarch’, pointed out there is an ocean in every human being, saying “…Water is the most precious resource of our planet. It is a non-negotiable right for every human being.”
