The pastoral visit of the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, to northern Greece concludes this week. Earlier in the morning His All Holiness officiated at a Patriarchal Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Panaghia Faneromeni in the coastal town of Nea Michaniona.
Several hierarchs of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece, Metropolitans of the Mother Church of Constantinople, Mount Athos Elders and clerics of the resident Metropolis of Nea Krini and Kalamaria co-officiated, and in the presence of resident His Eminence Metropolitan Ioustinos, who on Wednesday celebrated his name day.
