Ecumenical Patriarch inaugurates new youth basketball arena at Peran sports club

The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, on Thursday afternoon attended the inauguration of a new basketball arena of the Peran sports club, in the Bosporus metropolis. The Ecumenical Patriarch blessed the efforts of community leaders and the pupils of the ethnic Greek schools — before being handed a basketball, taking and making a three-point jump-shot.
