The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, officiated at a prayer service on Sunday in supplication for the recovery and support of all those now affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The service was held at the Mother of God of the Life-giving Spring Monastery, Zoodouchou Pigis in Greek, in the Baloukli district of the Bosporus metropolis, and coincided with the Sunday of the Myrrh-Bearing Women.
The prayer text was composed specifically for the purpose, and is posted today on the pages of the Orthodoxia news agency.

Afterwards, the Ecumenical Patriarch officiated at a Trisagion memorial service at the gravesite of reposed Patriarch Demetrios, where he also read out the names of all the Patriarchs, hierarchs and Grand Benefactors of the Patriarchate interred in the monastery’s courtyard.

In the Holy Land, the Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Most Godly Beatitude Theofilos III, officiated at the Divine Liturgy on the Sunday of the Myrrh-Bearing Women, conducted at the Holy Monastery of Mount Tabor.
