Τhe Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, co-officated at a Patriarchal Divine Liturgy for the feast day of St Marina the Great Martyr, which was held on Friday morning at the Church of St. Marina, in the large village of Kastro, on the large northeast Aegean island of Imvros.
A day earlier on Thursday, a Great Vespers service was performed, officiated by Bishop Adrianos of Alikarnassos.
At the end of the Vespers, concelebrant Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew spoke to the faithful, in the presence of Metropolitan Kyrillos of Imvros and Tenedos, who will be enthroned on Saturday.
