Elder Ephraim: Spiritual ties link Vatopedi Monastery with Friends of Mount Athos Society of UK

Thursday’s online synaxis, or assembly, with the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy & Great Monastery of Vatopedi, with members of the Friends of Mount Athos Society in the United Kingdom, was well-attended and held amid a particularly warm atmosphere.
The synaxis was livestreamed by the Pemptousia.tv platform, and translated from Greek into English, French, Romanian, Georgian and Russian.

Participants had the opportunity to speak with the Elder Ephraim, as the latter fielded various numerous questions, mainly on spiritual matters.

The beloved Abbot of the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi also cited the spiritual ties that link the monastery with the Friends of Mount Athos Society, adding that through the UK-based society’s good offices, numerous visitors and pilgrims have visited the Holy Mountain.
