The 5th European Policy Dialogue Forum took place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands from 13 to 15 November 2023 and the keynote speaker was His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon.
His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon emphasised in his speech the need for solidarity and not that of passive tolerance in the problem of immigrants, while he pointed out the importance of the presence of young people within religious communities.
The Interorthodox Centre of the Church of Greece also participated in the Forum. Mr. Sergios Voilas, KAICIID Fellow Alumni, representing the Orthodox Centre presented the Centre’s participation in the Erasmus + KA2 program and specifically the DD@S – Democratic Dialogue at school program at the Forum’s Market Space of Ideas parallel event. Also, at the conference, there was a presentation of the new program implemented by the Orthodox Centre in collaboration with KAICIID, with the Centre’s Academic Associate, Ms. Kalliopi Mavragas, KAICIID Fellow Alumni, as director.
