Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon officiates at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity
On Sunday, 8 October 2023, 3rd Sunday of Luke, His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon officiated at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Chalcedon. The sacrament of the Divine Eucharist was offered by Archimandrite Evgenios Karatzas, Protosyncellus of the Holy Metropolis of Chalcedon, assisted by Deacon Father Asterios Bantarktsis.
The President of the Chalcedon Community Mr. Ioannis Demirtzoglou and the Vice President Ms. Lena Katsi, the Treasurer and supervisor of the Cathedral, Mr. Fotis Katsis and many believers from Chalcedon and the surrounding areas were also present for the Divine Liturgy.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel spoke appropriately to the congregation, analysing the Gospel reading and distributed the antidoron to the faithful.
