Enthronement of the new Metropolitan of Florina, Prespai and Eordaia
On Sunday, 19 November 2023, His Eminence Metropolitan Irinaios of Florina, Prespai and Eordaia was enthroned. The new Hierarch and Shepherd of Florina arrived in the central square of the city, with the clergy and the blessed laity offering him a warm welcome shouting “Worthy, Worthy”.
Afterwards, the service of enthronement took place in the Metropolitan Church of Saint Panteleimon. His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece and representatives of the ecclesiastical, political and military authorities, were all present for the auspicious event in the history of the Metropolis of Florina.
