Ethnic Greek deputy minister in Zimbabwe

The 34-year-old ethnic Greek deputy minister for Lands, Agriculture, Water, Climate and Rural Resettlement in Zimbabwe, Vangelis Haritatos, spoke to the Voice of Greece radio program this week, where he referred to the very good relations between Athens and the southern African country, as well as to the ethnic Greek community in Zimbabwe, and very ambitious plans to establish the first Greek language higher education institution there.
There are three Greek Orthodox Churches in the country today, as well as an elementary school and junior high school.
