EU leaders on Monday evening finally achieved consensus and agreed to implement a massive post-pandemic recovery fund for member-states.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis referred to a national success, as the agreement will provide Greece with around 72 billion euros to help the country deal with the fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 750-billion-euro recovery fund aims to jump-start the coronavirus-battered economies of EU members.
