Event in Dortmund, on occasion of Feast Day of the Three Hierarchs, dedicated to Ecumenical Patriarch

An annual event held by the Greek Orthodox parish of the Holy Apostles, in Dortmund, Germany, in commemoration of the Feast Day of the Three Hierarchs, this year was dedicated to the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I.

The event was attended by representatives of several religious communities in Germany, along with municipal and federal state officials, and academics. The keynote speaker was Greece’s general consul in Dusseldorf, Maria Papaconstantinou.

A feature on the work and vision of the Ecumenical Patriarch, showcasing Orthodoxy’s global impact and spirituality, was shown during the event. Additionally, a special exhibition of the works of Nikolaos Magginas, the Ecumenical Patriarch’s personal photographer, was organized and displayed.
