Feast day of Amphilochios, Bishop of Iconium

The Church today venerates the memory of Amphilochios, Bishop of Iconium.

The memory of St. Amphilochios, Bishop of Iconium, was commemorated in a solemn and festal manner by the Holy Metropolis of Thira, Amorgos and the Isles, with the resident Metropolitan, also named Amphilochios, celebrating his name day.
His Eminence officiated at a con-celebrating Archieratical Divine Liturgy at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Presentation of Our Lord and Savior in the Temple, in Fira, the capital of the island of Thira, or Santorini.
