Feast day of Makarios the Great of Egypt, Makarios of Alexandria

The Church today venerates Makarios the Great of Egypt, as well as Makarios of Alexandria, two renowned ascetics of the early Christian period. Today is also the feast day of Mark, Bishop of Ephesus.
