The Church today venerates the memory of Mary & Martha, the sisters of Lazarus.
The Holy Myrrh-bearers Mary and Martha, together with their brother Lazarus, were especially devoted to the Savior Jesus Christ. They reposed in Cyprus, where their brother became the first Bishop of Kition after his resurrection from the dead. A feature is posted today on the pages of the Diakonima.gr site.
