Feast Day of St. Anthony in Veria, north-central Greece – (PHOTOS)

Τhe north-central Greek city of Veria on Friday honored its patron saint, with a celebratory Divine Liturgy taking place at the St. Anthony Cathedral, officiated by Metropolitan of Kissamos and Selinos, His Eminence Amphilochios.

Co-officiating were the Metropolitan of Veria, His Eminence Panteleimon, the Metropolitan of Arta, His Eminence Kallinikos, the Bishop of Amorion, His Grace Nikiforos, the Abbot of the Monastery of Pantocrator, outside Alexandria, Romania, and Athonite Fathers from the Romanian skete of the Forerunner on Mt. Athos, who conveyed the Holy Icon of the miraculous Theotokos Prodromitissa.
