The Church today venerates the memory of St. Porfirios Kafso-ka-li-vi-tis. His feast day coincides with the saint’s repose in the Lord 28 years ago.
A special video is posted today on the pages of the Orthodoxia news agency, where St. Porfirios describes a decision to devote his life to God, as well as his advice to the faithful on how to save their souls.
In the video, Physician Giorgos Piperakis and the Metropolitan of Limassol, His Eminence Athanasios, recall their first meeting with the 20th century saint of the Orthodox Church.
