Former Greek president of the republic Christos Sartzetakis passed away on Thursday morning at the age of 92, following a lengthy hospitalization at an Athens hospital.
Sartzetakis was a distinguished prosecutor and jurist before being elected by a majority of deputies in Greece’s Parliament in the mid-1980s as the country’s head of state.
