Former Metropolitan of Chkondidi to Parishioners: See You in Heaven

Reverend Petre, the Former Metropolitan of Chkondidi, who was yesterday fired from the position of Bishop by the Synod because he submitted incriminating evidence against Patriarch Ilia II, said goodbye to his parishioners.

“There was a holy father, who always said “see you in heaven,” as a form of farewell. Let’s say, “see you in heaven!” the Reverend Petre addressed the parishioners of the Chkondidi Eparchy.

Reverend Grigol (Katsia) has been appointed as the new Metropolitan of the Chkondidi Eparchy, replacing Petre Tsaava at the post.
