Forty-day memorial service for reposed Patriarch of Serbia Irinej at St. Sava cathedral

A conciliar Holy Liturgy and 40-day memorial service was held on Tuesday for reposed Patriarch Irinej of Serbia at the crypt of the St. Sava cathedral in Belgrade, where the latter is interred.

Besides the relatives and close associates of Irinej, the services were attended by the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, who left flowers at the grave of the reposed Patriarch, along with several top Cabinet ministers.

The Metropolitan of Dabar-Bosnia, His Eminence Hrizostom, the Locum Tenens of the Patriarchаl throne of Serbia, officiated at the Liturgy, with the con-celebration of other top hierarchs of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
