A funeral service for reposed Elder Metropolitan of Piraeus, Kallinikos, was held on Tuesday at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, in the port city of Piraeus, officiated by the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos.
The reposed Church hierarch will be interred at the Holy Synodical Monastery of Panaghia Chrysopigis, at the Polydendri settlement north of Athens, a monastery founded by Kallinikos.
