The government will probably be forced to close cemeteries in large cities – Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said during the special briefing and added that the decision will be made in 2 days.

“All the imposed restrictions refer to everybody. We seriously consider religious activities, traditions and visits to cemeteries that are directly linked to the dynamics of the virus spread though the decision is not simple to make,” Gakharia said.

According to PM, closure of cemeteries is a regrettable fact. However, “We are in a struggle and the front line of this struggle passes everywhere. There are cases when making compromise is difficult and threat containing,” PM claimed.
