In the presence of the faithful residents of the area along with local politicians and authorities, the Great Vespers were held on Saturday 5 August 2023 at the Holy Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Saviour, Great Meteoron of Meteora.
His Eminence Metropolitan Theoklitos of Stagoi and Meteora was present and officiated at the Great Vespers Service.
The celebratory services continued on Sunday 6 August 2023 where the Midnight Office began the divine services followed by the Festive Matins and Divine Liturgy.
