On May 9, 2020, at the Holy Monastery of Saint John of Mountain in WA a one year memorial service was conducted for Elder Aimilianos, the former Abbot of Simonopetra (Mount Athos). His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Kyaneon presided at the service assisted by the Abbot of the monastery, the Very Reverend Archimandrite Ieronymos. The entire brotherhood was also present and the memorial service took place according to the Athonite Typikon lasting for one hour.
