Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis requested from the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, the Church’s help in better informing the faithful over ways to avoid exposure to the coronavirus (2019-nCov).
In a phone conversation, His Beatitude reiterated that the Church has always and will always stand by the side of the Greek state, and will contribute with all its resources and means in matters affecting the Greek people.
According to an announcement by the Church of Greece’s Holy Synod, a circular will be issued and sent to all Metropolises around the country with recommendations and directions to reduce any threat of a spreading of the flu virus
