Hellenic College Holy Cross Welcomes Metropolitan Constantine of Denver
This week, Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Seminary were delighted to welcome back His Eminence Metropolitan Constantine of Denver to the HCHC campus, his first visit since his enthronement as Metropolitan. His Eminence is an MDiv graduate of 1994 and was classmates with President Demetrios S. Katos.
His Eminence presided over Vespers on Monday, July 29th and Tuesday, July 30th and also offered a trisagion service for the three hierarchs resting behind the Holy Cross Chapel: Archbishop Iakovos of North and South America, Metropolitan Silas of New Jersey, and Bishop Gerasimos of Abydos. The trisagion service held particular significance in that it was held on the birthday of Archbishop Iakovos and that Metropolitan Silas of New Jersey ordained Metropolitan Constantine to the Diaconate and Priesthood.
