HOLY METROPOLIS OF KAMPALA YOUTH CONFERENCE

Youth representing their different parishes from the metropolis of Kampala have started arriving at St. Nicholas Cathedral Namungoona ahead of their 2-Days conference running from 31 January to 1st February 2024 organized under the THEME:
Watch, stand firm in Faith, be strong. do all your works in love “1Corintians 16:13—15”.

The youth comprise two youth leaders (One male and 1 female) from each Parish intending to provide an opportunity for networking and brainstorming action plans for the sustainable future of the Youth Movement.

The conference will also enable the identification of challenges in the youth movement in Uganda Orthodox Church and provide innovative, inclusive, and sustainable solutions through youth voice and social entrepreneurship.

This evening they are engaged in Vespers led by Fr. Emmanual Kiwanuka the deputy Parish Priest.
They will be officially going to their parishes on 2 February after celebrations of WORLD DAY OF ORTHODOX YOUTH which will start with the Divine liturgy.
