The Holy Relic of St. Filothei the Athenian has been placed for veneration by the faithful, ahead of Friday’s feast day in commemoration of the saint.

A cathedral dedicated to St. Filothei, located in the same-name Athens district, was decorated in white for the occasion. As with other such Church feast days for almost a year now, public assembly precautions and restrictions are in place due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
