Members of the Holy Synod of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece on Wednesday convened for a third consecutive day, amidst the Church of Greece’s ongoing 164th synodical period.
A day earlier, a significant memorandum of cooperation was signed by the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, on the behalf of the Church, as well as by the relevant development minister and a representative of the Network of Greek Cities for Development. The agreement aims to create the framework for considerably expanding the Church’s charitable works and projects, especially by regional Metropolises.
