In the square of St. Prince Vladimir in the Brazilian city of Campina das Misoins, a prayer service to the Baptist of Rus’ was performed
On the 27th of July in the city of Campina das Misoins (Brazil) on the square of the Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Prince Vladimir, a prayer service to the holy Baptist of Rus’ had been held.
The square is located in the central part of the city, in 2021 a chapel in the name of the Equal to the Apostles Cyril and Methodius was erected there.
The prayer service was performed by the rector of the Church of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian in Campina das Misoins, Archpriest Oleg Mokryak, accompanied by the acting rector of the Church of the Holy Martyr Zinaida in Rio de Janeiro, Priest Roman Kunen, reports the website of the Argentine diocese.
On the same day, the priests congratulated the Russian ensemble “Troika”, which has been representing Russian culture in Brazil for 32 years, on its foundation day.
