Int’l premiere of film “Man of God”, based on life of St. Nektarios of Aegina

The international premiere of the feature length film “Man of God” was held in Moscow on Sunday. The film is based on the life and works of 20th century St. Nektarios of Aegina.

The film was presented by its director and screenwriter, Yelena Popovic, as well as well-known Russian actor Alexander Petrov, one of the protagonists in the movie.

During the event, Petrov noted that he was astounded by the saint’s life, and considered himself blessed to have portrayed a role so close to St. Nektarios.

“Man of God” is a production of Simeon Entertainment in cooperation with the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi and the St. Maxim the Greek Institute.
