Investiture of New Metropolis of Chicago Archons at the Annual Archon Weekend

The Annual Archon Weekend of the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle was held last weekend, October 18-20, in New York City. The weekend focused on the Order’s efforts to secure religious freedom for the Mother Church of Constantinople and welcomed the 2019 Class of Archons. The Metropolis of Chicago was honored to receive three new Archons over the weekend: Archons Stelio Efstratiades and Perry Siatis from the Greek Orthodox Church and Archon Jeremy Orhyn from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

In addition, Archon John Zavitsanos, Esq. received the 2019 Nicholas J. Bouras Award for Extraordinary Archon Stewardship, and Metropolitan Epiphany of Kyiv and All Ukraine received the 2019 Athenagoras Human Rights Award.
